Happy Friday ESQE Families!
I am finally feeling more like myself! Thank you for all the well wishes while I recovered from pneumonia. As many of us know, the bugs are strong this year. Please help us all stay healthy by keeping your child home until they are ready to be back after being sick. We appreciate your support with this.
It has been a busy month, so be sure to check out all the great things we have been up to at school below.

Celebrating SQE
We had several classes celebrating Carnaval in February! A celebration of French Canadian Culture. Check out the delicious Poutine, and our teachers going wild on Coure de Feu.
Love was in the air this month! Not only was it Valentines day, but it was also Pink Shirt Day. This is a day to bring awareness to the power of kindness! Whether it be dancing at the assembly, decorating cookies, or sharing message of love throughout the school, SQE is embracing kindness as a core value. This Friday we also had a special "Wear your Flare Day" with students and staff wearing something that made them feel awesome or most like themselves!

Wow, look at these skaters go! It was so great to see Mrs. Busschaert's and Mrs. Sorensen's class enjoying time on the ice together!
Our grade 5/6 students in Mr. Georgy Embree's class sure are convincing as they practice their persuasive writing skills with Ms. Busalacchi!
Its Ninja time! Mme. Hryhirchuk's class adventured to the Ninja Gym using Squamish Transit! Way to go!
Mrs. West's class has been busy this month exploring different countries around the world and presenting their findings!
