Sickness
We know that bugs are going around, with many students AND staff away on a daily basis. Unfortunately we are seeing an increasing number of students being sent to school sick. We are asking our parent community to please keep their children home when they are sick,  we need to work together to prevent the spread and keep everyone healthy.

Lice

We encourage families to make a point of doing regular lice checks - lice knows know boundaries, and anyone can get it. Their presences is not a sign of poor hygiene, poor housekeeping, or low socioeconomic status.  Although a nuisance, lice is not a medical concern. Please click HERE to access more information on ways to prevent, check, and treat lice.

Celebrating SQE

We have an amazing SQE drum group. They practice once a week with Jaime, and Ms. Busalacchi. During this time they learn traditional songs, dances, and also respectful drum practices.

PAC Updates
Upcoming Dates:
- Feb 11th PAC Meeting 6:30pm SQE Library
- Feb 7th Soup Day. Volunteers needed and welcome!

This year our PAC has been working hard to share cultural eating experiences with our students. First they shared samosas to celebrate Diwali, and this month they shared noodles, in celebration of Lunar New Year.  Lunar New year marks the start of spring according to the Lunar New Year, and noodles represent longevity, and according to tradition it is bad luck to break the noodles.
