Showcasing Student Learning!
In January, Students in Mme. Koscher's K/1 class became reading buddies with Mme. Petre's grade 2/3 class. The reading buddies have been meeting three times a week to read together and practice letter sounds. This collaboration is building literacy skills and confidence.

Check out all of the exciting things happening in Ms. Keller's grade 2/3 class! They have worked as a team to help keep our forested area and school grounds clean, worked collaboratively to design and build structures, and created beautiful representations of our local Squamish landscape through the exploration of watercolor painting.

Literacy Week at ESQE!

Our amazing librarian Mrs. Antonios planned an exceptional literacy week for us this year! We had our first kindergarten and grade 1 evening story time (the first in many years!), dress as a character day, a school wide drop everything and read, as well as family literacy bingo! Thanks so much Mrs. Antonios!
