Parking Notice
We are hoping more families can take advantage of the overflow gravel parking lot for drop off and pick up to avoid congestion at the front of the school. If you can make a new plan with your child to use the overflow parking lot rather than the round-about, emergency lanes, the bus lane, etc., we would really appreciate it. Students can easily access a safe route on to the field by the overflow to gain access to our front playground. Please leave the main entrance free and accessible to those that need that access. We are also looking for volunteers still to help support a kind and safe parking lot flow before and after school. Please email [email protected] if you would like to volunteer. Thank you for working with us as we continue to find ways to make the flow of traffic run more smoothly.

ESQE 2023 Learning Exhibition!
Wow, what an incredible evening, showcasing the student learning taking place at ESQE. Thank you to the tremendous efforts of our staff that organized this event and consistently support our students in their learning adventure.
ESQE April Adventures!
Mr. Castrillos grade 2/3 class has been up to some pretty amazing things this month! They embraced their inner scientist, completing experiments, embraced their inner gardener at the Squamish Can Farm, and even acted as a teacher to their little buddies, teaching them how to skip!
Mme. Hryhirchuks grade 5/6 class ventured over to Howe Sound for some Easter baking in cooking class!
Our lovely ESQE Library hosted writer Paul Shore. Students participated in a live audio broadcast and writers workshop, all sponsored by the Whistler Writers Festival. Thank you Mrs. Antonios, for organizing this!
Congrats to "The Shades" who won this years ESQE Reading Link Challenge. They came 1st out of 20 teams, answering 27/30 questions correctly! Big congratulations to "The Shades" who represented ESQE at the district wide Reading Link Challenge this year and tied for second place! Well done!
LST Adaptive Bike Fair
With the support of our district Occupational Therapist we were able to host an adaptive bike fair. Giving students an opportunity who cannot access a typical bike, to try biking! The smiles say it all!
Sound Kreations!
We were super fortunate to have Sound Kreations come to SQE this year. Students in all grades had the opportunity to learn some awesome Hip Hop Dances. ESQE sure can dance!
Missoula!
A huge thank you to our PAC for organizing this years Missoula extravaganza! As well as a huge shout out and congratulations to all the students who participated - this type of event takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Well done everyone!
